Hey mates! Have you heard of our friends over at Fashion Nova? If not, then you ‘gone learn today! They are an online fashion retailer and boutique chain based in LA that truly caters to the trendsetter in all of us, without taking all of our coin! I received 10 pieces from them in all kinds of styles: jackets, jeans, sweatpants... and I have to say, I'm really satisfied with the quality and the fit.
With online retailers, you can sometimes get duped by the sizing. We've all been super excited about a jacket ordered online only to find that it's too big or too small when it arrives. Especially since a lot of online retailers don't have great return policies or shipping costs end up being more expensive than the actual item, accurate size charts are a key component of online retail success. I'm happy to say that the sizing of the pieces I received was excellent.
Looking at their prices, you'd probably think that Fashion Nova is getting their clothing from a supplier, vendor, or wholesale warehouse in China and reselling it. But according to the company, they actually work locally with about 500 sewing factories across Los Angeles, California. At the time of this review, they claim that 80% of Fashion Nova's products are made in LA. This is a huge bonus, as sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices are finally picking up momentum in mainstream fashion.

I've had issues in the past with low-cost denim falling apart or not fitting right, but these pieces are thick, fitted, and undeniably well-made. My favorite pair of simple white sneakers complete the look and keep it casual.

Today i'm talking about my new bag from one of my favorite brands ever, Picard! There are two things to bear in mind here: dimensions and styling. There’s not much I love more in the fall and winter season than a beautiful turtleneck sweater. Descente does an excellent job on all their jackets, and this piece is simply beautiful. The fit is absolutely on point: slim sleeves, a nice straight slim body, and a fantastic fit around the shoulders. Since the fabric has plenty of give — meaning it is very stretchy — there is no extra room around the shoulder, which gives the jacket a nice aesthetic and allows for significantly more movement. Evening guys ! This is my second day back in the city and I jumped head first into shooting this overdue buckleandseam post. When I traveled to Fes I actually took this big duffle as my carry on and it was really accommodating. It was able to store my jacket, computer, accessories and more. I firmly believe everyone needs to have at least one oversized duffle for travel purposes and it also doesn’t hurt when it’s designer label too, am I right?
To really enhance the jet setter or traveler vibe I styled the outfit with a prominent tartan coat from Mennace and a turtle neck sweater. Although the bottom half was on the dressier side I thought this was a perfect depiction of the ‘Weekender Linwood’ always debonair, and ready to go from a plane to the party.

Believe it or not these set of photos were one of the last I took in the city before heading west. I had the pleasure in the past couple weeks to attend an Event about leather bags here in my city introducing some essential bags that what should every men have .
