DANIEL WILLINGTON LOVER
7:59 AM
Winter is unkind to your wallet. To beat the deluge you need robust materials and quality construction. Which translates as money. But also, longevity.
As your summer wardrobe frays, those boots and heavy coats see off the years as easily as they do the weather. At least, they do if you spend wisely. And winter’s biggest budget buster comes with more pitfalls than most.
In this post i'm wearing a Blue suede over coat from Zara ! The overcoat is intended as an outer layer for wear during the colder months. Many people think it’s merely the final, winter-appropriate addition to a suit, but this essential has so much more potential.
For a casual look inspired by the skinheads, try a coat with a trim-fitting gingham shirt, rolled-up chinos, pair of snaikers ( like i did ) . For something that’s refined but not formal, wear it over a slim-fit blazer, merino/mohair jumper, button-down white Oxford shirt and wool trousers, then finish with Derbies.
The wool overcoat may be smart but it’s not occasion wear, so feel free to play around with what you’re wearing underneath.
Insulating, versatile and an easy way to take any look up a notch, the overcoat is a fundamental part of any well turned-out man’s wardrobe.
Forking out for a good quality style may set you back financially, but this is an investment you’re sure to receive a handsome return on.
As many of you know that i love sharing accessories that i love and this one has definitely earned a huge thumbs up from me!
Daniel Wellington watches are effortlessly classic, timeless and elegant. They’re perfect for transitioning between occasions and are the perfect complement to any outfit. The newly launched Dapper collection for men encompasses all these traits but has deep blue hands in place of the typical silver or gold hands. For me, the watch is the ultimate accessory — it’s the cherry on top of every outfit and the perfect finishing touch to look pulled together.
I’ve worn my Classy St. Mawes watch almost every day and have gotten numerous compliments on it. So when it comes to gift giving, I’m always drawn to sharing items that I absolutely love. I’m also the kind of gal who gives functional gifts more than anything else. So enter the Dapper collection — my favourite of the DW men’s designs. If you know a guy who loves watches or a gal who loves slightly oversized watches, definitely check out this collection. I’m a huge fan of the roman numerals and the deep blue hands. I think the subtle pop of colour adds a slight playfulness to an otherwise sophisticated watch. Pair it with some fun socks and I’m sure you’ll have the perfect gift or stocking stuffer!
Affordable luxury. Is it really a thing? If you didn’t believe it before, perhaps Daniel Wellington‘s new “Dapper” Collection ($299 USD) will give you some hope. Best known for their watches made sleek and perfect for any occasion, the Dapper Collection features refined details that will set them apart from their previous collections.
Details like the deep royal blue hands, roman numerals and the newly added date display. The slender yet high-end look comes with a dashing assortment of genuine Italian leather straps to match with a case in silver or rose gold.
