Polette Eyewear

I would say I'm the most apprehensive when it comes to buying sunglasses. It seems like nowadays just about everyone owns a pair of Ray-Bans or Tom Fords. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good pair just as much as the next guy, but seeing as how my sunglasses always seem to fall victim to some kind of mishap due to clumsiness, I'd rather continue to take the more affordable route. With that being said, may I introduce you to the leading French purveyors of bothstylish and affordable frames: this is Polette Eyewear.
HISTORY
Having launched in August 2011, this fairly new but fast-growing brand set out to revolutionize the optical market in France, and now I'm happy to say that they're making their way across the pond! After growing tired of having to break the bank for a simple set of eyeglasses, young entrepreneur Pierre Wizman decided to take matters into his own hands. Upon making the decision to leave school at the age of 16, he worked with business associate, Pauline Cousseau, to develop a business plan that would put an end to expensive eyewear. Together, the pair learned everything they needed to know in order to build a successful online business from the ground up. A couple months after their first sale in October 2011, Polette hit the ground running, quickly being sought after by consumers and local media outlets.
Concept
The major idea behind Polette was to develop a method that would provide customers with affordable products without sacrificing when it came to quality. Wizman decided that by utilizing his own factories to produce frames and lenses, he could eliminate all intermediates, thus allowing him to sell his products at factory prices. In case you aren't aware, that means an 80% discount! That's right, Polette's wide selection of frames range from just $9.99 to $49.99 and lenses from $9.99 to $89.99 [all of which come including anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coating]. The pair I'm sporting here are the PARMIGGIANO's.
I decided to go for a street-inspired look with a a dark blue suit from Massimo Dutti , black shirt from Zara and let's not forget the black boots from Zara . For accessories i decide just to wear the wooden sunglasses from Polette
Sunglasses: C/O Polette Eyewear (PARMIGGIANO)
suit : Massimo Dutti
Shirt: Zara
Boots: Zara
So the next time you find yourself needing a new pair of eyeglasses, I hope you'll think twice before dropping $200 on Tom Ford. Polette is here to provide you with an equally stylish yet more affordable option. To stay updated on all of the brand's activities, be sure to check out their website at http://www.polette.com/en/.
